Toothbrush – Is it a Real Concern?

The toothbrush is crucial for daily oral hygiene. It removes plaque effectively. It prevents tooth decay, gum disease, and sensitivity.

You should change your toothbrush every three months. Or as soon as you notice wear on the bristles. This ensures effectiveness in removing plaque and bacteria. It prevents damage to your enamel or gums. When choosing a toothbrush, be sure to select one of high quality. This way, you can be confident it will do its job well and protect your oral health. In the history of inventions plastic was the most amazing one, Plastics are part of our daily consumption habits. Manufacturers supply foods in plastic bags, plastic films, and other types of plastic containers at markets. Additionally, they produce plastic, a non-biodegradable material made from petrochemicals and not found in nature.

Plastic began to be mass-produced after the Second World War and then again during the 1960’s and 1970’s when consumers craved plastics to replace traditional materials because they are cheap, versatile, sanitary, and easy to manufacture into a variety of forms.

The toothbrush is a plastic product. Replacing it with bamboo brushes contributes to saving our Earth. Reusing and recycling things doesn’t take much effort. It can make a big difference in saving our planet. We need recycling for all the items going out of shape.
This little step would make more sense than sending everyone home from school to think about something as meaningless or fun as dental care with materials that are not only compostable but can also potentially reduce pollution in nearby areas if they are not properly disposed of or if others do not recycle them after being plastic-binged away. It sounds like pure awesomeness does heh??

Each year, approximately 1 billion plastic toothbrushes are thrown out in the United States alone, equating to about 3 brushes per person. These 1 billion plastic toothbrushes accumulate significantly, totaling about 50 million pounds of plastic waste added to landfills each year… THINK HOW MUCH MORE IN THIS Earth….
